It has a detachable split on the left side of the thigh if you want to show off your thigh during your reception or if you want a more modest look you can clip it together. Beautiful dress, I ordered the wrongs size and I sized up unfortunately. The back is stunning with a v cut, and it also has small sleeves. It is brand new never had alterations.
