The gown was professionally dry-cleaned and the cleaners removed as much as possible
The marks are only on the inner layers and are not visible when the dress is on or in photos

Alterations

Shoulder straps shortened slightly for a more tailored fit
Zipper professionally adjusted to make getting in/out easier
Hemline shortened to fit my height
No bustle added (I personally didn’t love the look of the buttons), but a hidden string loop was added to the inner two layers so I could pick up the train and loop it over my elbow – great for dancing or photos!
