Wendy Makin is widely recognised as one of Australia’s foremost bridal dress designers. Her signature style is easily recognised for it’s simple, stylish elegance and extraordinary fit. Her quality of both design and manufacture of her wedding dresses is praised and sought after by both brides and bridal boutiques throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

This dress is the Nadia style and was purchased new from Wendy Makin late last year. Retail it is priced at over $2500.00. It is made from dupioni silk with an elegant, subtle lace detail. It has boning in the corset that makes it very flattering. (I am usually a 12C and didn''t need added support with this dress).

It is a size 10 and has had less than half an inch let out in the back (for breathing space). I am one of those people who are between a size 10 and 12. (I am approximately 160cm tall and weigh 61kg - just as a guide).

The dressmakers also added a fantastic bustle at the rear. As you can see from the images, it has a very pretty train that can be bustled up after the service.

The dress is comfortable, flattering and just stunning in wedding shots. More photos can be provided upon enquiry. This was the first dress I ever tried on - you need to see it on, to see just how flattering it is.

The dress has not yet been dry-cleaned, but is in great condition. The price includes professional gown dry cleaning from Leon''s (valued at $165.00). I can facilitate this when I have secured a buyer happy with the dress.
