My parents were both captains in the US Army during WWII which is where they met. They had to have a civilian wedding, in uniform, before they could have their 'civilian' wedding. The dress was preserved and boxed as shown immediately after the wedding. The process is documented in the warrantee. The box has never been opened and the packaging and seal remain intact. The dress is a medium, size 10 with pearl beading at the neckline. Mother was 5'9'', taller in heels. The dress will be sold as-is to a bride who wants the extremely elegant gown of the black-and-white photos/films of that era. Wishing you absolute joy and sophistication on your day.
