This fit and flare wedding dress is incredibly comfortable, flattering, and elegant. The gown has a boned bodice (although boning is not visible with the ruching), removeable off the shoulder straps, “non functioning” covered buttons all the way to the hem (but dress actually zips), and a stunning train.

The fabric drapes beautifully, with a sophisticated silhouette that hugs in all the right places without feeling constricted.

The dress was dry-cleaned immediately after the wedding.

Alterations

The dress was ordered with customized “split sizing” to be a 12/14/8 (bust/waist/hips) and the only alterations needed were to hem -- I am 5'8.5" and wore 3 ¼ inch heels
The seamstress also added cups to the bust and an under-bustle/french-bustle with seven ties and two buttons
The off the shoulder straps came as detachable (with hook & eye clasps), but I had them stitched for more security since I did not plan to take them off at any point (could easily switch back to hook & eye for versatile design options and/or remove them completely)
