To elaborate- I chose the linen (which has a beautiful silk lining underneath) because for me, our wedding day was relaxed and the linen just felt relaxed. It’s simple but so comfortable to wear (I didn’t want to get out of it). The v neckline is gorgeous. I didn’t need a bra (I’m a 12DD bra size, and I was breast feeding at the time, so it was easy to get out of for a Quick feed).

The backless design is surprisingly not uncomfortable as it’s supportive. If you are happy to go no bra- this is your dress! Due to alterations, it sat a little too straight across my back (it probably looks better with it looser and arching down).

The pockets for me are a huge seller. I kept my lippy in there all night.

My only fault of the dress is that due to pulling it tighter around the waste and adjusting the neckline, it ended up a little shorter at the front than I would have hoped. I’m about 165 cm and it was at times a little shorter at the front than it was at the back (due to the train, and when we pinned it up, it sat a little heavy at the back). But all in all, I would wear it again.

The sleeves are fun! I just love that I was comfy in it all night.
