Wearing Style 1295 by Martina Liana was everything I envisioned for our wedding in Greece May 2025, a perfect blend of timeless grace and understated luxury. The clean ballgown silhouette in rich silk Zibeline felt both regal and effortlessly modern. I especially loved the delicate shoestring straps, which flowed into an open scoop back along with a trail of gorgeous buttons. The full skirt (with pockets!!) and subtle train looked unbelievable sweeping behind me as I walked.
This dress was perfect for a traditional church wedding followed by a reception on the beach overlooking the Aegean.
I ended up wearing the dress for the ceremony, sit down dinner and first dance. I then changed to protect the hem and dance well into the night without worrying about damaging the beautiful silk! I am also considering selling my Toni Federici Espana Cascade Veil 108in (274cm).

Alterations

I chose not to wear the bow so it is untouched and in perfect condition!
The straps were shortened but material was kept intact so they can be let out
The bodice was tailored to allow for a more snug fit around the bust without squeezing my back
The inner built-in bra-like strap was tightened for added support and it has multiple hooks
We also added an additional hook and eye closure mid-zipper to ensure durability and the buttons were reinforced
We added extra loops to create a bustle
We replaced the original wrist-strap for a more elegant loop (the original was just the same branded material as the straps you use to help hang the dress) to be able to wear the train over your wrist whilst dancing
The hem has not been altered!
