Sweetheart neckline and flattering corseted bodice, with a floaty full skirt beneath. The skirt has a netting and silk underlay with a kind of crinkled organza over the top, which makes it twirly and lovely without becoming a tutu! The gown comes with the belt paired in the designer's picture.
I fell in love with this gown at Le Spose Di Gio's London atelier, but couldn't afford it new (£4800). I ended up finding a sample in America and having it shipped over. It was originally a size 10 but I had it altered to fit a size 8 (approximately 32” bust and 27-28” waist) The hem was also taken up to fit about 5’8-9”.
The dress exterior is in perfect clean condition. The belt has some dirty marks on the buckle. This could perhaps be spot cleaned or maybe customised with jewels? The buckle can also be removed so the belt is plain. Failing that any colour of sash could be used instead. There are also a couple of bits of stitching on the hem of the silk underlay which have come away. These can’t be seen but they could easily be resewn or if the dress is to be further shortened this wouldn’t apply. Please contact me for any additional photos.
