This Cosmobella dress was my dream come true on the most magical day of my life. The elegant trumpet silhouette in exquisite Duchess satin, hugged my figure perfectly, accentuating my curves while offering the freedom to move gracefully down the aisle. The sweetheart neckline added a romantic touch, and the strapless design made me feel confident and sophisticated.

As I walked into the Ballroom at the One&Only Cape Town, the shimmering, intricate beading reflected off the crystal chandeliers dotted all around the impressive room, and caught the light beautifully, creating a stunning visual impact. The delicate tiny embroidered pearls provided extra flair, while the soft ruffles kicking out from below the knee to the hem, added a whimsical charm. I couldn’t have imagined a more breathtaking dress to say “I do” in.

The corset back not only ensured a perfect fit, but also added an element of drama as I turned to greet my guests. I wore a full length ivory veil during the ceremony and for a few of the pictures directly after, and it’s available free of charge to a lucky bride-to-be. The dress is in a very good condition, reflecting the joy and love of my special day, and I hope it can bring the same magic to you.

My weight fluctuated radically up and down by up to 5kg in the 6-8 months before my wedding, depending on whether I had no appetite or was stress-eating 😊
I did a run-through 10 days prior to my wedding day which included a final fitting, (thank goodness) and we had to alter the modesty panel to ensure a perfect fit on the day
The dress can be worn with or without the panel as the corset’s wide satin lace-up provides significant coverage with just the right amount of skin showing
With the altered modesty panel in place, the size UK8 can easily fit size UK 10 dress dimensions, and without, it’s a perfect fit to the label size UK8
