This is my gorgeous Jessica Bennett “Delphine” gown in silk taffeta, which I wore for my wedding this summer. It’s such a special dress — modern but timeless, with a really flattering drop waist and full gathered skirt that moves beautifully.

The neckline is clean and elegant with fine straps, but these can easily be removed if you’d prefer a strapless look. I styled it with detachable tulle gloves and a scarf tie (I’m happy to include these if you’d like), though the dress looks just as stunning on its own.

The gown was originally a UK 10, but I had it taken in at the waist and bodice, so it now fits more like a UK 8. For reference, I’m 5ft 5 and wore 8cm heels.

I found it surprisingly comfortable to wear — easy to walk, dance, and enjoy myself in. There is a very slight pull on the inside lining, but it’s completely unnoticeable when worn.
