George Wu

This is my gorgeous custom made wedding gown by George Wu, a Brisbane based couture wedding dress designer. George takes pride in using secret couture techniques, like those used by Chanel, Dior, Valentino, and Versace, which sets his designs apart and results in a gown that is not only beautiful but also incredibly well-made.

The dress is made in the most beauty ivory Satin fabric, featuring a lace edged neckline, draping around the bodice, high leg split with lace panel inside, and covered buttons down the back. The lace is French Chantilly lace used by fashion haus' like Chanel. The neckline/straps were intentionally designed to sit on the edges of the shoulders without being "off the shoulder". The dress also features a long train which falls perfectly to the ground without dragging when attached to the arm loop (bustled). The bust features meticulous draping, with carefully placed folds that flow seamlessly into the high slit. Each drape has been thoughtfully positioned and stitched to create an effortless, natural fall of the fabric. Another special detail of the dress is that there are no seams around the waist. While seams are typically used to shape and cinch the waist or mimic a corseted look, this dress achieves that silhouette through the construction alone. This dress for me is the perfect mix of sexy, elegant, and timeless. I'm more than happy to send more pictures/videos if needed.
