This was truly my dream wedding dress - I fell in love with it from the very first moment I saw it. This breathtaking Vivienne Westwood Rhea gown features the designer’s classic boned corsetry (which can be reboned if you want any alterations), crafted from luxurious heavy stretch satin with an elegant tulle overlay.

What made this dress so special for me was how the removable sleeves and detachable tulle train created completely different looks throughout my wedding day. I felt like I wore multiple outfits! The overskirt and sleeves made me feel absolutely magical for the ceremony, then removing them transformed it into a sleek, stunning evening dress for dancing - it was perfect.

The gown beautifully nips in at the hips with Vivienne Westwood’s signature subtle mermaid silhouette, blending classic elegance with the designer’s distinctive edge.

This is now a truly unique piece - Vivienne Westwood is no longer producing this style, making it an archival treasure that no one else will have.

Condition & Care - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

**IMPORTANT: There is a small tear on the front of the tulle (just the top layer) that is visible in the photos. While not noticeable from a distance, it is present and needs to be acknowledged before any viewing. The tear is ~1.5cm wide by 2cm down (but doesn’t cover the full surface area as it’s smaller than a square, see photos).**

- Small tear on front of dress - easily repairable but has not been repaired before listing
- The tear is shown clearly in the photos - please review all images carefully
- Minor signs of wear on the inside train hem (not visible when worn)
- Has been stored carefully in protective garment bag

Alterations

Minimal alterations were made:

- Taken in at bust by 2-2.5cm for perfect fit (I’m a 32D bra size for reference)
- Slightly shortened for 173cm height with 2cm heels (would perfectly fit someone shorter with higher heels)
- Added hook on dress so the train can be bustled up for easy dancing
