I thought I would wear a jumpsuit, aka ABBA-style, but ended up in this dress! It's absolutely incredible, and I could not recommend it more. I felt like a million bucks and a rock star (we also walked out to "Money for Nothing" by Dire Straits lol). It's timeless and elegant, but also playful, thanks to its long split.

If you choose this dress, be aware that it's big and fun, and you should spend some time in it before the wedding to get comfortable. You'll see down below that I tailored it to make it more manageable, as it was important for me to be able to move around and dance. Don't be uncomfortable on your wedding day!!

Alterations

Bust: I bought it in size 10 and altered the bodice to US 4-6
Cups: Lightly padded cups were inserted for support and shaping
(These are removable.)
Straps: Added to provide additional support
(I ended up never using them, and they are also removable.)
Tulle: One of two inner tulle layers has been removed from the skirt to reduce volume and create a cleaner drape
Hem: Adjusted to floor length for 5′9″ height with kitten heels
Bustle: Added to allow the train to be secured for moving around after the ceremony
