I searched far and wide to find a boutique that carried the Eve of Milady line. Many designs were lovely, but a little too girlish and/or trendy for me. I was in my 30s, an accomplished professional, doing a formal wedding, etc. I wanted a gown with sophistication and gravitas. Eve of Milady delivered.

The moment I put it on, it TRANSFORMED me. Sophisticated. Regal. Feminine without being fragile.

In these photos, the finger-length veil was styled "poofy," but it could easily be allowed to fall more softly for a different look.

I chose to wear this ballgown silhouette without a petticoat, but it is very able to accommodate one for a fuller skirt if you prefer.

Notice the alterations: I made a few tweaks to provide comfortable support, but these could be removed pretty easily.
