This was my dress of DREAMS. As soon as I tried it on, I knew it was the one - it is so incredibly flattering and I loved that it was a classic with a twist.

The Galaxy Cape takes inspiration from the classic archive Ball Tie style, complete with a detachable 18th century Watteau style train in silk georgette. The gown is made from pearl white FSC-certified crepe satin.

I wore it for the ceremony, turned the detachable train/ cape in to a neck scarf for the cocktail hour and detached the cape for the wedding breakfast. I changed in to a second outfit for the after party. Both items have been dry cleaned with a specialist.

I bought this made to order from the Vivienne Westwood Couture boutique on Davies Street, London. It is a split size (UK 10 top/ UK 12 bottom) as I prefer a little more flow in the dress. No alterations have been made. There is a small, minor stain on the hem that is barely visible. I am tall (178cm) so it is perfect for anyone wanting to take the hem up too.

The dress comes with the original tag, original dust bag/ hanger and store bag given when purchased.
