Cotton crochet sample dress by Claire Pettibone from the Romantique collection. This dress is unaltered and unworn (though it was a sample so tried on by people at the designer’s boutique). It is a wedding dress size 10 but fits a street size 6. It has lightly padded cups and a low back, and an invisible zipper. No stretch in the fabric. Ivory fabric with nude lining.

I purchased this direct from Claire Pettibone in October 2024 and decided on a different dress for my 2026 wedding, so it has just been hanging out in the garment bag in my closet. Since this a sample dress, I think it should be cleaned before wearing (this is standard).

I haven’t measured the length but it is LONG. I am 5’5” and with 4” heels there is still a lot of fabric. It has the double layer effect I believe so it can be hemmed without impacting the crochet pattern. It has a train!

This dress isn’t available from Claire Pettibone anymore. I am pretty sure I got the exact last one (it was the only size left, and was out of stock after I purchased).
