The Rihanna skirt - affectionately dubbed the Riri - is a frothy, silk organza dream. The waste from each frill is repurposed into embellishments for other pieces in the collection.
I purchased this skirt on Stillwhite in 2025 to wear over a slip dress for my wedding. It made the perfect statement piece and photographed beautifully.
The skirt is originally a Halfpenny London size 2, which typically corresponds to a UK 8. I am usually a UK 10, so my tailor professionally added extra inches at the waist for a more comfortable fit. I’ve uploaded a photo showing how this alteration looks, and this can be easily reversed if you’d prefer the original UK 8 sizing.
Although the skirt was originally purchased a couple of years ago, it is still part of Halfpenny London’s current collection and remains hugely popular within Kate’s designs.
