This dress by Madeline Gardner is constructed of beautifully draped layers of soft tulle over a white satin lining. It's sheer sleeves and back add modesty and a bit of warmth for a fall/winter wedding - and it's simply the most comfortable you can be, with such timeless elegance.

As a plus size bride, I know how hard it is to find the right dress. The designer's photographs show off the dress' features better than any amateur can capture at home, but all dresses look very different when they are in your size. One of the amazing things about this dress is that it actually looks great in a large size.

I just listed 3 dresses (like I'm a "business") because I ordered multiple dresses from this website to choose from - paid hundreds of dollars to have 1 altered - and then ended up just days before my wedding without a dress which fit - so I drove 10 hours to the Winner in Sharon, PA and bought this dress. This is the dress I wore, and although different from the others, it was perfect.

IMPORTANT:
It has NOT been cleaned and is being sold as is - it should be dry cleaned because - you know outdoor photos, nervous sweat - etc. but luckily no red wine mishaps.
It does NOT include the rose gold jeweled belt I wore, but I covered up a beautiful waistline which the dress itself has. The belt is listed on Poshmark, but I don't know that you need one.
Finally, and most importantly - in the last minute craziness, I had my mom and aunts "hem" it to fit my height - which is 5'6" with about 2 inch heels? Doing this the night before the wedding - it was a complete hack job - literally - cutting layers and layers of tulle to hang just right for me. No one could tell - the endless layers of tulle are very forgiving and hid it all. BUT if you are taller than 6' (with your shoes) - this could be problematic for you, as there is no length to let out.
It does have a small train, so they also made me a bustle which I used - but it was so pathetic looking and pulled - I just cut it out. Any seamstress could easily add one for you, as it was good for the reception.

Size - this is the big thing - after I purchased dresses on this site which didn't fit because bridal sizing is so unpredictable! I want to help you try to figure out if this will be a good fit for you. I am a 2XL, a 20 IRL, NOT as 26 - but this dress fit. It was roomy and I probably would have had it taken in, if I'd had more time - but I didn't want to have to count on spanks.
