Riki Dalal Davina Lace Mermaid Wedding Dress – Custom Couture Fit (UK 6–8)

This stunning Riki Dalal Davina gown is a romantic mermaid-style wedding dress featuring a sweetheart neckline, elegant off-the-shoulder sleeves, and intricate floral lace with delicate beading layered over soft tulle. The colour is a beautiful beige and white, giving depth and warmth while still photographing as classic ivory.

The dress was professionally reimagined with couture-level alterations in London to enhance the fit and silhouette from the back. Working with Asar London, a leading luxury bridal designer, and his seamstress at Dyla Bridal, the original corset hooks were replaced with lace detailing for a cleaner, more flattering finish. Additional give was added through the hips, along with a discreet zipper, allowing for a more figure-hugging and elegant shape.

Originally made to measure for a UK size 6, the bespoke alterations mean it would also suit a UK size 6–8, depending on body shape.

Measurements (dress laid flat):
Bust: 40 cm (underarm to underarm)
Waist: 32 cm (narrowest point)
Hips: 40 cm (widest point)
Length: 170-212 cm (shortest bottom tulle layer to longest layer/train)
Measurements are taken with the dress laid flat; buyers should double for approximate circumference.

Purchased directly from Riki Dalal in July 2020 for £3,800. Due to a postponed wedding, the dress wasn't worn until 2025 (only for 3 hours!) and remains in excellent condition.
