Stunning satin Charlie Brear gown. I have had it altered to fit me, it is now a size 8, it was originally a 12 as it was a sample.
The satin is bias cut so hangs beautifully and is so flattering. It has a slit up the front to just above the knee and is so flattering the way the skirt moves when you walk. I had so many compliments that it was like something a Hollywood actress would wear! I chose it because it was timeless and elegant.
The back is also V shaped and quite low.
I have had it dry cleaned since my wedding so it is immaculate. No imperfections at all, just as good as when I bought it. Please let me know if you want to see close ups of the dress on a hanger.
It was touching the ground when I was wearing 5 inch heels and I am 5ft 5 inches tall without shoes, so the dress would be suitable for someone 5ft 10 in flat shoes.
I didnt wear a bra, but used the stick on perky pear bra and it was perfect. It would be suitable with some strapless bras if they were low at the front and back.
