Jessica McClintock, SILK Vintage Scoop Pearl Neck Long Lace Sleeve Bas

This may be my favorite gown we've ever had in the store. It's breathtaking, & because the dress is 100% silk it's super light & comfortable. (gowns are not made from silk anymore!!) You can really feel the difference in the quality of this dress, just in the fabric compared to modern gowns. They just don't make things like they used to!

I would totally have a seamstress add POCKETS to this gown!

I LOVE the neckline and the stunning pearl-edge detailing at the bodice/neckline, on the basque waist, the beautiful lace on the long sleeves.. every detail on this dress just is stunning. The skirt can be made much fuller with a crinoline or petitcoat. It is quite wrinkled from storage. This is a vintage shop sample gown by Jessica McClintock that has never been worn, just revived from our bridal storage. This gown has been tried on a handful of times in the shop. It is brand new w shop/tags (lost the designer tags)., has never been worn (other than for the pics & being tried on in the store), never altered. It is in excellent sample condition. The wrinkled skirt is easily steamed out, that's just from storage.

Just a reminder that ALL designer bridal gowns need alterations, as they don't have stretch and are quite long. Typically a hem is needed, along wih a bustle, and adjustments around the bust and sleeves.
