Valentini Spose, Valentini V1405

With this Valentini V1405 gown, it was love at first sight. I was drawn immediately to the lace. It’s intricate, romantic, and truly stunning in person...the kind of lace you keep noticing in photos long after the day is over. The A-line silhouette is timeless and elegant, with beautiful structure that feels supportive yet effortless to wear (the dress originally is a bit more ballgown, but I had it altered to remove some of the fullness). The lace elevates the entire gown, giving it that classic, heirloom quality without feeling heavy or dated. It photographed beautifully and felt just as special in motion as it did standing still.

NOTE - I am keeping the custom matching bolero, which I wore in the church to cover my shoulders! Something for me to remember the day.

Alterations: added a bustle, added cups inside the corset, lined the corset so it become full white instead of nude, removed some fullness from the skirt and hemmed it. I am 5"5 but wore 5" in heels so the dress should comfortably fit someone 5"10.

I chose this gown because I wanted something romantic, meaningful, and timeless, and was drawn to the lace. I changed into a second dress early in the reception, so this was worn for ~5 hours. This dress deserves another beautiful day, another set of photos, another story. I hope it becomes part of someone else’s most meaningful memories.
