Lia Stublla, Custom Made

I wore this as my second dress for the reception and it was such a hit! This dress was custom made from scratch by a designer in Kosovo, and I truly felt amazing in it. It’s a strapless, structured gown with a beautiful asymmetric drape and a high slit that gives it such a modern but still elegant look.

It comes with a detachable overskirt that adds a dramatic train. Once you remove it, the dress turns into a sleek, fitted reception look. The two looks look so different that people kept asking if I changed into a 3rd dress! There’s also an optional bustle on the right side if you’d like it (I ended up using the bustle when I had the overskirt on).

The back has a corset closure, so it’s adjustable. I’m between a size 2 and 4, and the corset allows for some flexibility to go slightly bigger if needed. When I first gave the measures to my designer I was more of a size 4 but I lost weight right before the wedding and it still felt perfect so it's very adjustable to body size (within constraints of course). The fit felt very secure and supportive all night. It was snug in the best way, but still comfortable enough to dance in.

For reference, I’m 5’2” and wore 100mm heels.

Dress has been dry cleaned professionally. No try-ins.
