This is a BRAND NEW, UNALTERED Essense of Australia a-line gown (style D3140) featuring a basque waistline, detachable, off-the-shoulder straps, and a corset back. It is gorgeous and looks great on any body type (the basque waistline is so slimming!). It has beading along the bodice and a shimmer in the skirt.
There is not a thing wrong with this dress! I ended up just going another route.
At the time of the order, I was a street size 16. I ordered a 22 based on the designer’s size chart due to my bust size. It would probably realistically fit a street size 18 better before alterations.
FYI: The pictures are me in the sample dress (smaller size) when I tried it on. There are two color waves available for the dress from the designer. This dress is NOT the beige/biscotti option. It is the ivory/white option. The designer considers this ivory but it definitely comes across closer to white.
