Lola Varma, Lotta Gown

I absolutely adored wearing this dress on my wedding day and would love for another bride to enjoy it just as much.

This Lola Varma gown was made to order at their Fitzroy studio in Melbourne. It is beautifully crafted from a unique striped chiffon that is incredibly lightweight and lined with silk, making it one of the most comfortable dresses I’ve ever worn.

The dress features a flattering V-neckline and a softly draped bodice with a fitted skirt through the hips that gently flares at the bottom, creating an elegant silhouette that is easy to move and walk in. The sleeves are a standout detail and add to the romantic, effortless feel of the dress. There is also a discreet wrist loop at the end of the train which makes it easy to hold while mingling and walking around.

I had a minor alteration to the neckline so the plunge at the front sits slightly higher than the original design.

The dress was worn once on my wedding day and professionally dry cleaned the following day. There are no visible stains. The hem has very slight fraying in sections from touching the ground, but otherwise the dress is in excellent condition.
