Ellis Bridal, 11317

I bought this from the 2nd owner in 2021 who wrote the blurb below. I didn’t end up wearing it due to Covid cancellations etc. It is just sitting in the cupboard and really needs to find a new owner who can actually use it!

This Ellis Bridal design is an ageless classic. I purchased it off the original owner who carried it all the way from the UK, they only made minor alterations to the inner waist. It’s extremely comfortable and dance friendly! The dress has a lace bodice with intricate beading. It features satin buttons on the sleeves and all the way down the back. There are also cups sewed in so no bar is required, they can also be removed. My wedding day was in the middle of an Australian summer and I was extremely comfortable all day. The length was prefect (and cooling) with no issues of bathroom breaks, dancing, siting and hiking for photos! I did have an over skirt made for the ceremony but it was too hot to wear on the day. I hope this dress makes the next owner as comfortable and as happy as me (and the previous owner before me) and we both adore this well made piece. The dress is a size 16 UK but Ellis Bridal is known to run small. I wear a size 12-14 AUS and stand at 171cm tall.
