This gown has been thoughtfully altered to enhance both elegance and functionality while preserving its couture design. These minor alterations include:

1. a single bustle has been added at the back of the dress to allow for easier movement during the reception
2. a discreet wrist bustle has been incorporated on the side with an under-dress attachment, allowing the train to be elegantly carried when needed
3. the hem has been slightly adjusted to accommodate a kitten heel, ensuring the perfect floor-length fit while maintaining the gown’s luxurious silhouette and flow. For reference, I am 5”8
4. at the waist, there are two discreet hooks located at the back of the dress. These can be adjusted to create either a more relaxed silhouette or a more sculpted, supportive shape, depending on the desired look and level of comfort

All alterations were completed with care to preserve the original craftsmanship of this Berta Couture 22-06 design, ensuring the gown retains its luxurious structure, romantic detailing, and couture finish.

However, it is entirely optional, as the gown is designed to stand beautifully on its own. This addition is simply about enhancing your comfort and confidence, depending on personal preference.

Added details: The gown has been professionally measured and matches Berta’s size chart (size 40 - in inches - chest 36.2, waist 27.5, hips 37.7, cup size B-C). This gown was originally purchased from bridal salon, White Toronto. All original Berta tags remain intact, along with the appropriate garment bag. The dress can be further hemmed if needed. This dress has been cleaned and is in pristine condition with no damage, rips, or stains. Pickup is available in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with shipping also offered at an added cost once destination is confirmed. Local try-on is possible upon request.
