Fflur dress from E&W Couture, in ivory, without floral train (just a bit of kick back), and with custom V neck back. Tailored to fit me.

I knew Fflur was the dress for me as soon as I saw it online. It's the perfect blend of super special while feeling super comfy and not too prim. It's shape is really flattering and the gorgeous floral lace (that I've never seen anywhere else) gives it a more vintage look. The A line fit is quite contemporary but in the ivory colourway and with the floral lace it still looks quite traditional (so pleasing myself and my mum!).

The front is softly structured with a double-darted bodice that shapes the waist in a very flattering way and I didn't need to worry about my figure/bloating at any point in the day. The slight heavyness of the weight of the layers of the satin and then the embroidery on top feel so luxurious and elegant every time you move and swirl. The dress honestly made me feel like a million dollars, and calmed me down to move slower and take everything in.

Customisations from the Fflur you can see on the E&W Couture's website:
- I chose not to have the floral lace train as I had a ceilidh, photos in woodland, and personally wanted to be able to move around without having to pick up by train or worry about it getting caught in anything. The dress instead has a bit of a 'kick back' so it trails a bit on the floor and it was measured perfectly to my height to be floor length when looking ahead and walking.
- I chose to have a custom V neck back so I could easily wear a bra. My bra size is 34D.
- The V neck was also raised slightly and the sleeves and back adjusted to make this work.

I had the dress professionally dry cleaned after the wedding and it looks good as new.

I'll never forget how much I loved wearing this dress but it's too beautiful and well made to keep in a box for years. I would really like this dress to continue to be loved!
