Justin Alexander, Ford (Style 88285)

This dress features a chic square neckline, structural seams that beautifully contour the body, a subtle basque waist, a low open back, and timeless covered buttons running all the way down the back of the gown. It is made of a gorgeous, high-quality stretch crepe fabric that feels both modern and effortlessly elegant. I’m obsessed with the clean, architectural way it hugs the body and accentuates curves.

It was worn once in December 2025 for an outdoor ceremony. I felt incredibly elegant and comfortable in it all day, and I would love for it to bring joy to another bride on her special day!

Alterations
• Straps: Slightly shortened for a more secure and flattering fit.
• Hem: Hemmed to fit a height of 5'5" wearing 2" platform shoes (approx. 5'7" total length).
• Train: The original train was shortened to make it lighter and easier to manage. You can see the gorgeous post-alteration train length in action in photo 3.
• Bustle: A secure ballroom bustle was added, allowing you to tuck the train away completely seamlessly.
• I kept the fabric removed during alterations, and will include with the dress. The fabric is more than a foot long, 1-4 inches in thickness, and can be used in your own alterations or for DIY projects.

Flaws to Note: Because it was worn for an outdoor ceremony, there are some faint marks along the very edge of the rear hem that did not entirely come out with dry cleaning. I have included close-up photos so you can see them. If you are shorter than 5'7”, hemmed alterations may remove them entirely.
