If you are 5'6" or 5'7" with heels, its no problem. The lace is original length, and it has a bustle so you will be able to walk during the reception or perform a dance comfortably. We did a full on lift at his shoulder height, and the dress was fine bustled up. It has 1 bustle hook, so the bustle time is fast.
