Prea James made this beautiful custom Carolyn gown for me in November 2022. I opted to not include beading (the first Carolyn gown made without!) and added fabric covered buttons down the back - perfect for the relaxed, modern bride.

The Carolyn features t-shirt style neck and sleeves, waist cutouts and an elegant spilt centered at the front. Made from a smooth matte finish crepe with a super soft satin lining that feels beautiful on your skin, keeping you comfortable on your wedding day.

The split sizing is as follows: 10 bust, 9 waist and 10 hip and was then further tailored by 'My Private Tailor' in Sydney.
It's been professionally dry cleaned and all that remains is some minor, subtle staining on the underside of the train.
Wear and tear is extremely minimal. The only thing I could spot is 1-2 stitches on each side of the back where the cutouts join have become unpicked, likely due to the weight of the train.

I believe the Carolyn has since been discontinued so this might be your last chance to pick it up!

• After these alterations the dress truly fit me like a glove
