Vivienne Westwood, Nova Cocotte

This Nova Cocotte gown by Vivienne Westwood was my dream wedding dress and I'd love for someone else to feel as beautiful in it as I did.

Dress was ordered and altered by the Vivienne Westwood team at the flagship store in Mayfair so the skirt etc still retains the amazing seamless look even though it was taken up.

I'm 5ft 5 and wore 4 inch heels on the day, the skirt just skimmed the ground at the front and had a train at the back.

The corset was styled by iconic Westwood bridal stylist Rosie Boydell-Wiles who's worked with Daisy Lowe and other big names. We went for the off shoulder with a narrow drape across the corset to really highlight the waist of the dress.

The material is the more expensive white Silk Cady, it's slightly matte and feels gorgeous (not available from all Westwood stockists so it does make the dress extra special).

I ordered the size 12 and had it taken in slightly for a perfect fit. The corset is like magic and does actually have stretch in it (which makes it comfy all day even though it sucks you in) so I'd say it would fit a general size 12 extremely well.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned at Elias couture dry cleaner in Belgravia, the underside of the skirt has some faded water marks remaining (happy to send photos) but this would not be seen when wearing the dress.
