Astaire by Evie Young is an incredibly beautifully modern yet romantic gown that offers multiple looks in one. The gown features a flattering strapless bodice with soft asymmetrical draping, creating an elegant silhouette with beautiful structure and movement. The lightweight A-line skirt flows effortlessly, while a Chantilly lace illusion split adds a contemporary and unusual detail. Covered buttons extend from the top of the lace jacket through to the end of the train for a romantic timeless finish. One of the standout features is the detachable Chantilly lace jacket with the high neck and long sleeves. Worn together, the gown feels romantic and editorial and without the jacket, it becomes sleek, modern and effortlessly elegant, allowing for the best of both worlds with two distinct bridal looks in one gown. This dress is brand new with tags and has never been altered, giving you complete flexibility for tailoring. I ultimately decided to go in a different direction due to a change of wedding venue, so the gown has never been worn. As an additional gift, I am also including a matching neck shawl, offering yet another styling option and creating a beautiful second look for your wedding day. Please note that the sample gown I tried on in the boutique had a small broken stitch at the neckline, which caused it to sit slightly straighter in my photos.
