The Dress

I saw this dress on Instagram and instantly feel in love with it! I knew then and there I had to have this dress as my wedding dress! This is an original Hayley Paige ‘DORI’ gown. The Dori gown is only available in 2 boutiques in Australia, ‘Eternal Bridal’ in Melbourne and one in Sydney.

The dress is an ivory colour with a boat neck bodice which has full detailed crystal in a selection of snow and clear coloured crystals. The full-length horse hair flounced skirt has an exceptional amount of layering which becomes longer at the train (which is not too long). It is surprisingly very comfortable to wear and the quality of this dress is clear when you see it, no expense was spared when designing this gown... the photos do not do it justice!!

I cannot describe how happy this dress made me feel on my wedding day!! It was truly my dream dress and I received so many compliments on the day and months after. This is the ultimate princess dress! Which is why I’m selling it :( It is too much of a beautiful dress to be hanging in the cupboard for the next 50 years! I hope it brings someone as much happiness and joy as it brought to me on my special day.

The length is not altered, there are no tears in the skirt, no crystals missing. I did have 2 small breast cups added but these can easily be removed. The only alteration made was I had the two straps back straps removed to better fit my post pregnancy body but it makes no difference to comfort or to the overall look of the dress.
