Ball Gown

Stunning ball-dress couture gown! This gown was made for me with all fabrics used purchased from Saigon Fabrics in Sydney.

The skirt is made up of multiple layers of tulle, the under skirt and bodice are made from de-lustered satin and the top sheer part of the dress is made from gorgeous Italian silk chiffon. All seams on the top are rolled french seams, done by hand.

Please note that the gown has a small circular 'chapel train'. Guaranteed to make a stunning entrance! The back has a beautiful, dramatic dip, nearly to the waist (shown in photos).

The gown would ideally suit a lady who measures 25-26 inches in the waist and wears an A cup sized bra. My height is 162cm and I was wearing 7cm heels on the day.

An exquisite gown as is, or the bride may even see it as a canvas onto which some beautiful beadwork could possibly be applied to create more detail.

Gown took very little wear and tear on the day and has been dry cleaned back to spotless condition.
Materials and labour for the dress totalled $2000.
