Annette of Melbourne, Custom Made

A haute couture gown designed by Annette of Melbourne. This bespoke gown was hand constructed with over 60 metres of beautiful fabric overlaid with the finest French lace and hand beading. The lace has only ever been used in the creation of this gown and one other. It is fitted to the hip and then flows to the ground into a 2.5m train.

The skirt consists of three layers of silk chiffon, one layer of silk organza, one layer of silk moda and one layer of satin.

The bodice consists of a deep sweetheart neckline with fine lace and bead detailing and delicate asymmetric shoulders, one made of silk and the other of lace. They will stay in place throughout the ceremony, photos and reception. The bodice also includes an inbuilt corset that contains structured C cups that will support you perfectly, no bra is required.

The gown is fashioned together with steel hooks and stunning buttons, a trademark of a couture gown from Annette of Melbourne. The train is able to be bustled once you have finished taking photos allowing you to comfortably dance the night away.

The dress was returned to Annette of Melbourne after the wedding prior to dry cleaning to have minor imperfections caused during the course day fixed. As such, it is in almost brand new condition. It was professionally dry cleaned by Syndal’s Bridal Dry Cleaners, who are regarded as the premier bridal dry cleaners in Australia.

A full-length veil and matching lace headpiece are included in the price. I am also happy to include the earrings I wore on the day.
