Jenny Packham, Odessa

The beautiful and sought after Jenny Packham "Odessa" gown.. This dress chose me as much as I chose it!!

The skirt is made from the finest silk tulle and flows elegantly as you move.. it's the kind of skirt designed for moving around a ball room.. the top of the dress is made of the most delicate of laces adorned with tiny Swarovski crystals that dazzle as the light catches them. The lace continues across your back forming a neat v that ends at the base of your spine... tiny ivory silk buttons complete the look as they dance down the owners back. The two fabrics are joined perfectly by one very neat Ivory bow..

This gown is both regal and yet I felt so relaxed whilst wearing it... a true triumph by Ms Packham and her design team. It's no wonder then that the classically stylish Kate Middleton wore the "Odessa" gown herself in teal to a function she attended.

Now to get to it!!!.... I stand at 5ft 7.3 Inches tall and wore a 4 inch Badgley Mischka shoe.. the dress has a tiny stain to the hem line ( pics available upon request), however given that the original length of this gown is unaltered, this may be removed in the alteration process.. if not this mark is not noticeable. I had the waist line taken in to 29 inches (uk size 11 if it existed)!! I wear a 34DD bra and had soft breast pads inserted as a modesty panel within the fabric.. you don't see them but they do the job nicely! This sale also includes the co-ordinating ivory silk tulle, cathedral length veil.
