The Dress

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my wedding dress on the day. It was so flattering and comfortable. Many people commented on how unique it was and also how much it suited the setting we were married in. I have had it professionally dry cleaned (Wedding dress specific) which cost $400. Please see below for alterations I have had done. Dress is stored and presented in the original Made With Love dress bag with ribbons and all accessories.

With a beautiful IVORY underlay (please note the advertised Emma on the made with Love website has a "Blush Underlay"), draped with crotchet lace, Emma stands. Her bodice sits relaxed on the body of her bride, effortlessly giving her the support needed while plunging ever so tenderly down the middle. Emma’s thin straps leave the bodice widening as they reach the apex of the shoulder, before diving down the curvature of the back with splashes of crotchet lace. Her rounded low back emphasises her bride’s natural shape, hugging the hips and tapering down the legs, before spilling out gently to the floor.

1. REINFORCED wrist strap. The original has a wrist strap for the train that is only attached one layer of underlay, covering most of the lace when you wear it. Professional seamstress adjusted the wrist strap to attach to all layers of the dress and allows it to expose the lace more elegantly. This also ensured not damage to the dress when the train was attached to my wrist.

2. REMOVED the tulle in the centre that attaches the bodice in between your bust (See image 7 and 8). The seamstress said this would be easily reversed if required to be altered again.

3. REMOVED the soft material bra cups from the bust. This has been done in a way that allows for easy replacement of these. The bust size was also taken in from a C/B cup to B/A cup (see images). As i lost a little bit of weight this was the only place I had to get taken in. The seamstress again has only taken these in so they can be let back out easily. So this dress can be purchased for all cup sizes between A to C, and can be worn with our without the soft cups that can be put in (I still have the cup).

All alterations cost $400 and were strategically completed to allow for reversal to make resale easier.
