Fabulous preloved J'aton Couture wedding gown Sz 10 approx.

Silk satin, Italian silk tulle overlay, French lace details, Swarovski crystal beading.

This gown is a classic style and shape with a strapless curved neckline and sheer tulle sweeping up to give it a one shoulder look. It is reminiscent of the current Elie Saab 2012-2013 range, and some Dior gowns of the 1940's.

The underlay is an off white/light cream colour and the layered tulle is white. The detailing of the lace is silver and pale blue, in a floral design over the bodice and part of the skirt. There are no others like it. I did read somewhere recently that an off white is better for photographs and video as it is easier to capture. How true this is would better being discussed with a photographer. All I know is Facebook shows me my dress photographed beautifully!

The bodice is fitted and the dress is pulled tight at the waist which is the point which holds the dress up. The bodice is boned. The skirt is a similar to a trumpet design but is not particularly fitted around the hip section. Beautiful and floor length, with a small train.

I am in love with this dress. So much so, I would love to have another (any!) reason to wear it again. One day was not enough. But I know I have no reason to wear it, and thought I should offer it to someone else. It is so wasteful to have such an outstanding gown hidden in a closet.

There is only the one photograph presently as I am waiting for the professional pics. I will happily post more when I have them.

The dress is yet to be dry cleaned, but it is planned for the very near future.
