The massive fees taken out by Paypal at the last minute after it's too late to choose an alternate option was very off putting. I wasn't shown the amount nor were any fees mentioned prior to my customer making the payment. Had these fees been addressed up front and transparently I would have adjusted my listing price appropriately.

Only way to pay is using PayPal which is not secure. Dress arrived not as described (stitching bunched and falling off in places) and seller disagrees and will not accept a return. PayPal do not want to do anything due to deleting unsafe fraudulent account. Stuck with a dress that is not fit for purpose and out of pocked £750.

I absolutely love the platform. My wedding dress I initially order was delayed and my friend recommended I try still white for a second option. I came across some amazing dresses at affordable prices and I messaged the some sellers and they took very long to respond. However I got to another seller who had a similar item and she got it shipped to me in a timely manner since my wedding was just 7 days prior to me ordering another dress. I appreciate the swift action of that seller and I’ll definitely recommend this website to anyone despite not getting promo feedback from a few sellers.

Your platform is well done. It was good to get a general feel for what existed, before I went into an actual bridal salon (to discover what things looked and felt like on me), and then I could start using the filters to find my dress. The 'near me' filter didn't seem to work, either because of browser settings or no dresses (also possible, I live in a small place)

I had a pretty rough experience with the first dress I tried to purchase. We spent 2 months going back and forth on how to get it shipped from Australia to the United States. I ultimately had to cancel with her as she told me she was unable to ship. Another issue I ran into both times when purchasing was when I tried to pay via PayPal, PayPal would immediately flag the purchase as potential fraud (because of the size of the purchase, I think) and cancel the sale. Both times, i had to go back to the seller and ask them to re-submit the offer so I could purchase again. However, once I purchased again, a few days later I would get a double charge to my card as the initial first transaction looks like it went through in my bank. I had to file PayPal disputes and call my bank on both occasions. Overall, I am happy to have received the dress of my dreams for 1/3 of the cost but it was quite a painful process.

Other than a few costs to put the dress up and a bit of a cut taken from the profit it was easy to sell dress and meant I wasn't having to have people come over to my house etc. I recommend putting price up a little as I didn't realise they took also a cut off the top of the sale as well as the initial advertising. In saying that I didn't read into it much when uploading and happy it sold within a few weeks.

I think the website is good but it is unfortunate about not being able to return. It’s very hard for a bride to pay for a dress and not have any backup after. In my case I purchased a dress that was advertised as a size UK10 when in fact it was a UK8. The dress does not fit me and now I’m left to try and sell this myself.

I will never share a recommendation for your surface simply for the selling experience. Do right by your seller. Be upfront about how you will be forced to use PayPal, they will take a fee, and then hold your money for three weeks breaking the policies they have in place - I had to fight every single day to get the money I was due. The buyer had the dress for two weeks before I received payment. You should let us use our own payment service.

The concept and platform are great. The dress is great. However, one of the biggest challenges I see is international shipments and the seller's slow response. The dress we purchased was coming from Canada to the US, and I was concerned about importing (as noted on your site). I researched and sent recommendations to the seller AFTER we agreed on a reduced selling price. The seller accepted my offer, but then was traveling while I waited for her to confirm how she would ship. Given her delay in responding, the offer expired, although I told her I would proactively purchase the dress even before she confirmed. By the time she returned from her travels, she noted she had had another offer, and instead of reinstating our original agreed-upon price, she jacked it up another $100 OVER the original selling price, putting me in a bind to purchase and not lose the dress. The shipment was ultimately delayed 5 days, with no updates until just hours before. At the end of it all, we are very happy with the dress but international shipping and the seller playing games is tricky and doesn't make for the most optimal experience.
