It was a good experience overall. The site is inundated with so many dresses which is helpful for the buyer, but harder for the seller. I am pleased with the process though it took longer than expected. An unworn dress with the tags in the original cloth bag was retail for me - $4800. The selling price was $499. Thank you for your site.

It was so easy to sell my dress - I posted some pictures from the wedding and from the fittings. I liked being able to see how many people were seeing and saving my dress. I was hesitant to pay the extra to put my dress on the front page but I’m so glad I did - it sold a day later. My buyer and I chose to meet in person since we were so close, but I liked how the purchasing system works. It made me feel confident that the buyer can only make the purchase after we’ve talked so that I knew they read the description and knew what they were getting. Great experience.

Took almost a year to sell after multiple drops in price. PayPal and Still White took portions of the sale, so in the end I’ll only end up with less than 1/3 of the dress price. PayPal still hasn’t released my money from hold almost a week later, while the dress has already been delivered.

Unless you have your 5k dress with full bustle, dry cleaning, no alterations, and veil/accessories listed for $100, it's going to take a year or more to sell. This platform was not a good way to sell my wedding dress. It was incredibly frustrating and time consuming and took over a year to get a sale.

Easy to use but it seems there are a lot more sellers than buyers on the platform. It could be easier to determine what you can actually sell your dress for. I personally started with a price way too high based on seeing other dresses on the site, but those also didn’t sell easily. It took me nearly a year and a half to sell.

This site has allowed me to find my dream wedding dress, when I thought it was way out of my budget. I was able to chat with the girl and coordinated receiving the dress, and did not have to pay until I felt comfortable with the transaction. My only recommendation for this site is to require a minimum number of pictures for posts so people truly feel comfortable in the quality of what they are purchasing. Highly recommend to others!

After spending $200 - $300 bumping your listing to get views and lowering your prices you only net like $100. Then you have to deal with PayPal for payment which is a nightmare. If there was any other way I would have done it. Unfortunately there wasn't another platform to sell it.

Overall very happy with stillwhite! It took a few months but I sold my dress for a price I'm satisfied with. The only drawback was that because I'm new to PayPal (only made an account for the purpose of selling my dress) I didn't realize that they can withhold the payment for 21 days. I wish I had known that prior to listing as that's quite a long time. But still grateful to have sold my dress to a beautiful bride to be!

Such a sad and disappointing experi nice. I bought a dress “new with tags” and received a damaged dresses The damages were discovered when I went to my alterations appointment, about a month before my wedding. I’m now paying triple the cost of the dress to fix holes and other damages. The seller was completely delusional and felt justified in sending me a damaged dress, even saying I was the one who ripped it. Don’t buy with Stillwhite! Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable shop, it’s simply not worth this stress leading up to your big day!

It took a very long time to sell my dress, but I expected that. What I wasn't aware of was when some one buys your dress on stillwhite, stillwhite sends an external link to PayPal for the buyer to submit payment. Because of this PayPal took about a 4% fee for seller protection. I also am going to receive a 1099-k from PayPal for my taxes next year. I wish stillwhite was a little more upfront about all of this. I sold my dress for $600 and that is the threshold for PayPal to issue a 1099-k, if I had known, I would have sold it for $599. I'm also upset with the seller fee of $35 and the 4% fee from PayPal - I was essentially out another $50. Stillwhite is strictly a site for listing not selling.

The website is decent. A little confusing and not very intuitive. My biggest issue is all the hidden fees. First it costs to list the dress, then it costs to use Paypal when someone buys the dress... If there were less overall fees I would have given a higher score.

There is a great feature to chat with the person before purchasing. I really like the notes about scams and paying with PayPal, and felt very confident with the purchase. To improve, I would like to see a better filter for the names of dresses. I was looking for a specific dress from a specific brand, and it was easy to search by brand, but not by the name of the dress. I also would like to see more filters for size, with the measurements of the dress instead of just the size. Also, height is very important for dresses and it is impossible to tell the height from the description currently.
